Flame Tree Barbecue Gluten Free Lunch/Dinner Review

Flame Tree Barbecue is a quick service restaurant located in Animal Kingdom on Discovery Island, right before you cross the bridge to DinoLand. Flame Tree offers pulled pork and chicken on sandwiches or platters. Ask the cast member that takes your order for the allergy menu and they’ll be happy to give you an allergy menu. Flame Tree is my favorite quick service in Animal Kingdom because it has the best gluten free bun that I’ve ever eaten. I like to get the Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich with the gluten free bun. The bun is unlike any other gluten free bun that I’ve had, it isn’t crumbly when I bite into it. The pulled pork sandwich is super messy to eat, but it’s so good.

Flame Tree offers the most seating out of any quick service restaurants at the parks. There are multiple different seating areas, and you can even sit down by the water. This is also a great area to take a break if you need to get away from the crowds.

I highly recommend Flame Tree Barbecue for a quick service meal at Animal Kingdom. And for those of you that do eat gluten, Hubby says that the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork is really good.
