Il Mulino Gluten Free Dinner Review

Il Mulino is located at the Swan hotel. The Swan isn’t owned by Disney, but is still within the “Disney bubble”. The Swan and Dolphin hotels are located right between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can see my tour of the Swan and Dolphin on my YouTube channel.

Il Mulino is an Italian restaurant, and Nick and I think it’s the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried at Disney.

There was no gluten free menu, but our server was knowledgable enough to tell me which items could be made gluten free. They have gluten free pasta and can make most of their pasta dishes gluten free.

They also had gluten free bread for me to eat before our meal. The bread was good, it was actually a dinner roll instead of a hamburger bun like some places have, so that was nice.

For an appetizer, we got the Polpette Al Forno, which are Italian Meatballs with Tomato Basil Sauce and Parmesan Cheese. Their meatballs are gluten free, and the dish was delicious. It was so nice to be able to eat meatballs, because it’s really hard to find gluten free ones!

I ordered the Penne Rigate with gluten free pasta. This pasta was the best pasta I’ve had at Disney World. The sauce was great, and the pasta itself wasn’t chewy, which is nice for gluten free pasta.

Nick also loved his gluten-full meal. We both agreed this was the best Italian restaurant on Disney property. If you’re staying at the Swan or Dolphin, or anywhere else, definitely check out Il Mulino!
