Coral Reef Gluten Free Lunch Review

Review as of January 2019

Coral Reef is located in Epcot, in The Seas area of the park. Coral Reef is one of the coolest themed restaurants in Epcot. One wall of the restaurant is acrylic with a view of the aquarium from The Seas with Nemo and Friends. The seating in the restaurants is tiered, so every table has a view of the aquarium.

We were seated at a table right next to the aquarium wall. I loved watching the sharks, turtles, and rays go by as we ate! We were given a guide to the fish we might see in the aquarium, so that was nice!

An awesome view for dinner

I ordered the Seared Mahi Mahi. I’m not a huge seafood fan, but I actually really liked it. The rice and caribbean shrimp salsa was also good.

They have a lava cake called The Chocolate Wave that I love that is gluten free. It is warm and when you cut into it, the center is all molten and delicious.

There are a few options that aren’t fish, and if you have kids that aren’t a fan of seafood, there are options like pizza on the kids menu.

I really enjoy Coral Reef as a sit-down restaurant at Epcot. Before the pandemic, I could usually get a reservation day-of, but right now it requires a little more planning. If you’re looking for something different while at Epcot, Coral Reef is definitely the place to eat!
