Nine Dragons Gluten Free Dinner Review
Review from March 2019
Nine Dragons is located in Epcot, in the China Pavilion. It is not run by Disney, so their allergy procedures might be different than Disney-run restaurants.
My cousins invited my mom and I to join them at Nine Dragons on our Epcot day during Spring Break. After a hot day of walking around the Flower and Garden Festival, it was nice to sit inside and eat.
Nine Dragons did have a gluten free menu, with quite a few selections.
We ordered the Plum Infused Cherry Tomatoes as an appetizer, and I tried one. They had an odd texture, but were sweet.
The regular menus had places where you could practice writing Chinese characters. This was a fun way to pass the time while we waited for our food.
I ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken. It was not that great. The chicken was chewy and I didn’t like the texture. The rice was good though.
I was unimpressed with this meal. I could find something that tasted a lot better at a restaurant outside of Disney, for a lot less. Maybe one of the other dishes would be better, but I would recommend dining at a different restaurant while you’re at Epcot.
