The booths open at 11am, and the day I was there did not have a line. At the first booth I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Bowl. The booths do take Annual Pass discounts.

Lemongrass Chicken Bowl

The rice bowl was good. The chicken was a nice flavor and was moist, and the pickled cucumbers and edamame were really good (I didn’t try the mushrooms or radish). It was filling, and could definitely be a good lunch option for more adventurous eaters.

I also got the Vegan Roll at the other booth.

The roll was cold (it had been refrigerated) and refreshing. It was also surprisingly filling, and I wasn’t able to finish all of it. It did come with a soy sauce packet, which was NOT GLUTEN FREE, but I just discarded it and ate the roll without the soy sauce.

While I was eating, the giant screens on either side of the stage were playing promos for the Olympics. It was interesting to watch the athletes and see a little more of their stories.

Overall, the Olympic booths were a good lunch option at Universal Studios if you’re looking for something different than regular theme park food. There was no line, and plenty of seating available. Compared to the usual lunch rush, this was super convenient!
